Multicultural Day

May the fourth be with you! Join us on May 4th to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Easter (Julian calendar)! Carlos González a Mexican mosaic artist and Andrea Kulish, a first-generation Ukrainian American Pysanky egg artist will be joining us! Pre-registration for Carlos and Andrea’s workshops is required. There will be performances given by SPIVOCHI, a singing group that performs Ukrainian folk songs, and Genesis Marquez, a Venezuelan flamenco dancer, and a short Latin dance lesson by Griselda Martinez.
We are also excited to welcome the researcher Tetyana Lewińska, joining us directly from Warsaw. Tetyana will update Ukrainian families on her experiences. Tetyana is originally from Lviv and currently lives in Warsaw where she works at the University of Warsaw studying different topics connected with the Ukrainian immigrant community in Poland.
Learn more about how to be involved with the FIRST Lego League with a demonstration by Team 5190 in English and Ukrainian! Robotics will be available all afternoon in our Makery!
